Something about me Saturday #3

It's Saturday again so time for antoher something about me Saturday. This meme is hosted by Disney Bird and I love it because you get the chance to know a little more about the person behind the blog.

So today I just wanted to tell you something about my other blog: My Book Addiction. I read a lot, but as much as I love goodreads I just didn't feel it was enough for me to post my reviews just there. So I decided to start my own book blog. Because I read most of my books in English I decided to make my blog in English too. And I have to say I'm glad I did.

Because of my blog I've met a lot of wonderful bookbloggers and Authors. At first I only read my own books but now I even get requests from authors to read and review their book. For me this means free books and the chance to meet a lot of new authors out there. So I'm really glad I made the choice to start my own book blog. Something about me Saturday #2

It's Saturday again so time for another Something about me Saturday. This meme is hosted by Disney bird.

Well this Saturday I would like to share with you on of my other obsessions: Harry Potter. Last Tuesday I went to the theater to watch The Deathly hallow part 1 and excactly one minute past midnight they started The deathly hallows part 2! It was amazing to be there with all the other Harry Potter fans, counting down to the moment the last film starts.

I have to admit that I was a little sceptical when it came to Harry Potter, but the women in the bookshop ( She knew me well haha) told me it would be just the right book for me. And she was so right! After reading the first book I couldn't wait for the next book to come out and the next and the next. Every year at Christmas I got the next book, so I could read it in my Christmas vacation. I read all day because I just couldn't put the books down.

At first I didn't know if I could enjoy the movies as well but I do! So every year I went to the theater to watch it there. But the last movie was special so I had to see it as soon as possible. I had an amazing time at the movies and I can't wait to see it again. Although I'm sad that this has come to an end I loved every minute of the movie and we still have the dvd's right? Something about me Saturday

Hello Everyone,

This is my first time on this hop, so maybe it's a good idea to introduce myself first and tell a little bit about myself. I'm a 27 year old dutch girl. I have an amazing boyfriend that understands my love for Disney and reading. We've been together for seven years and we just bought a house together.

We live in that house with our two cats called Boris and Babe, our two rats called Contessa and Aprella, our Hamster named Lestat and a bunny named Agent B. So we've got a lot of animals haha. Besides taking care of our animals I love to watch movies or read a good book. I even started my own book blog a little while ago and I have to say that it made me love reading even more. I also have a job I work at a children's after school daycare, the kids go to school first and after school is finished they come to us until their parent pick them up. I love my job because I just love to work with children.

Of course I wouldn't have started this blog if I didn't love Disney! I've been a Disney fan for a long time, it started as a little girl when I wanted to see all the movies and it never stopped. My favourtie Disney movie is Beauty and the beast and my favourite Disney character is Eeyore. I also love The nightmare before christmas I believe I've got almost everything they sell in Disney from this movie. My homepark is Disneyland Paris, I have a annual passport so I visit the park as often as I can. My next trip is planned for October.
